The location of the gate is very important for the polymer flows into the mould. we will consider below questions when choosing a gate location :

- aesthetic considerations;

- degating requirements;

- design complexity;

- mould temperature ;

- the nature of the polymer to be processed;

- the polymer volume though the gate and the feed rate;

- significance and positions of weld lines produced;

- possible locations and effects of air trapping as a result of the filling profile.

● Beryllium copper will be used at the top of the core part of the plastic basket mould to high cooling effect, improve the quality of the basket and the production efficiency of the basket mould.

● For the steel selection of a plastic basket mould, we generally recommend 718H or 2738. Good polishing performance increases the glossiness of the product surface, and make sure a long mould life under rapid and high-pressure injection.
